If you like college humour this movie definitely raises a smile or two. True to its name, Roadtrip, is a great story about, well you guessed it. A college student accidentally sends his long-distance girlfriend a tape that he doesn’t want her to see. What follows is a desperate attempt to get it back by hopping in the car with his closest buddies and crossing the country. All road trip essentials are ticked off the list; barriers are overcome, friendships are formed and the car is completely destroyed in the first hour.
Road Trip Movie #2 | Little Miss Sunshine
A dysfunctional family decides to take a trip along the interstate to support their daughter in her dream to win the Little Miss Sunshine contest. The sanity of everyone involved is stretched to the limit as some quirky personalities cause a few bumps on the long road. Take bets on whether the VW bus or the family will break down first and be prepared for a few off-key laughs in this award winning, low budget indie film.

We’re not saying we hope your road trip turns into a 1hour 28minute struggle against a zombie apocalypse. But all end of the world scenarios aside this movie is funny at worst and contains a few life lessons at best and also, zombies. After a zombie virus sweeps the world the only surviving human’s are in a fight to survive. To overcome the odds, Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) and his “friends” Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) abide by certain rules as they try to make their way towards a rumoured safe haven in L.A.
Road Trip Movie #5 | MadMax
The world has plunged into war, anarchy and famine and bike gangs maraud the deserted Australian highways. Mel Gibson (you might know him) plays Max, an officer of the scattered remaining law enforcement, as he launches a well-founded, personal vendetta against the gang. A must see for any Australian, just beware MadMax is not for the family – the film was deemed so violent that the film was banned in Sweden until 2005.
Road Trip Movie #6 | The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
Beginning with one of the most memorable opening scenes in cinematic history, Pricilla Queen of the Desert features the most glamorous beauty queens of Australian cinematic history – Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce and Terence Stamp. Follow their cross dressing adventures as they as they cross Australia din a bus to perform their unique style of cabaret.
