Have a Ball foundation

On Tuesday 18th Septenber 2012,  at the OLA School in Cheltenham, Victoria; the Have A Ball Foundation launched its first school ‘bring a ball’ charity event day.

The day was a huge success with a surprise visit from the Marshall Batteries Mascot – Marshall Matt who gave the kids a chocolate & a sticker after they donated their sporting balls or gold coin donations.
Marshall Batteries is proud to be associated with the Have A Ball Foundation, which has been established to put smiles on the faces of young children by providing sporting balls to kids in remote schools of outback Australia and to encourage a healthy, active, and fun sporting life as well as raise money to support the health and well being of indigenous children.

It was an amazing effort by the pupils of OLA who donated 393 balls in total as well as raising money for the foundation.  These sporting balls are sure to make a huge impact when they a delivered to the remote schools west of Alice Springs next term.
